Q: Shipping Method
What shipping carrier do you typically use?
We typically ship out by USPS Priority Mail however if the order is very large, we'll ship your order by UPS or FedEx. We reserve the right to choose the shipping method however if you would prefer to ship a certain way, we're more than happy to do so. If the cost is more than another carrier though we would need you to pay the difference in shipping since we only charge a flat rate shipping and most times we pay the extra difference to ship your order to you. Q: Custom Coloring/Labels
Do you offer custom colored candles and/or labeling?
Yes. With a minimum order we can create most any color for any fragrance available in our candles. We can also customize our labels for you with a minimum purchase per fragrance. These are great for gift giving to allow you to personalize the candle with your company/family name with a special message. Please email us at email@example.com for pricing information.
Q: Soy candles = no soot?
As long as I'm burning a soy candle, I won't have any soot right?
No. All candles will soot some. Any candle that has been properly manufactured and wicked should provide the smallest amount of soot possible. However, other factors will determine whether your candle will soot or not, such as ~ burning a candle in a draft or in a room with a fan. Not properly trimming your wick after each burn.
To burn a candle safely and effectively, you should always avoid any drafts or fans as well as be sure to trim your wick between 1/8 - 1/4" before lighting. Never "power burn" your candle. This is a major fire hazard. To properly and safely burn a candle, you should burn it 1 hour for each inch in diameter the candle is. For example, when burning our 10 oz. Soy Candle, this candle is 4" in diameter and should be burned for 4 hours at a time. If you would like to enjoy your fragrance longer than this, please extinguish the flame properly, allow the candle to harden, trim your wick(s) and relight.
Distinctly Pink's Soy Candles have been tested with very little soy (not even visible) and should provide you with a highly scented candle that is very clean burning.
Q: What's the deal with the lead wicks?
Why do I see so many places claiming to have "lead free" wicks? What's the deal with them?
Lead wicks were proven to be harmful and have been banned from the US since the 1970's. Before this, they were primarily only used in candles that were imported into the US.
Distinctly Pink recognizes and honors this law. We use cotton cored wicks that have been designed and tested for the use in soy candles.
Q: I need my order now but can't pay until later.
I need to get my order now but can't pay until next week, do you offer credit?
No. All orders must be paid for in full upon ordering. Any orders placed with out payment will not be filled until payment is complete.

Please note that for checks, your order will not ship until payment has cleared. Checks and Money Orders should be made out to Disctinctly Pink and mailed to 7018 CR 24 Butler, IN 46721.
Q: Can you rush my order?
I need my order shipped out today, can you do that for me?
Yes and no. This will depend on your order size. Most orders ship within 2-3 business days, however if you need your order shipped same day please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if this option would be available for the items you're purchasing. For rushing processing, we do charge an extra $10.00.
Q: Can I have my order overnighted?
Can I pay extra to have my order shipped overnight or by some other method other than priority mail/ground?
Yes. If you'd like to have your order expedited in shipping, please contact us at email@example.com and we will get you a shipping quote.
Q: Shipping outside of the United States
Do you ship outside of the United States?
YES! We are happy to annouce we are now shipping internationally! All orders outside of the continental United States will be billed exact shipping on all items. We will send you and invoice (either through PayPal or Credit Card depending on how you pay when you check out) for the remainder of the shipping balance prior to orders shipping.
